I'm looking for a (UK) Conference Call Service that might get used once or twice, for four calling parties (2 home-based, 2 office based), preferably dial-in with no set-up fee.

If some (but not all) of the participants would prefer an 0870 number, then a good solution might be:

1) Sign up for FreeConferenceCall. 2) Sign up at our site () for an 0870 number which maps to the FreeConferenceCall number. 3) Distribute both the USA number and the 0870 number, and let the callers choose which number they prefer to dial (perhaps based on whichever is cheapest).

Personally I've always used powwownow - it's simple, reliable and the - number is easy to remember as 0870 2233344. I'll certainly try the - voicemeeting.co.uk at 5ppm that Linus mentioned though - never heard - of them but 3ppm cheaper per participant. It's operated by Indigo Networks GmbH (read: Sipgate) and alaw Teleservices Kommunikations GmbH.

I usually use Opal's call conferencing, which works the same but with - more introductory spiel, less american accents, but an 0870 number - - 0870 111 0870
