Question:
Business Plans With MS Software?

Answer:
My guess would be that what you've got is a Business Plan template that tells you to oh, I dunno, go to PowerPoint, use the Org Chart layout, make your Org Chart, and then import that into this master Business Plan. Now go to Word, use this marketing goals template as a guideline to type your own, now copy/paste those into this master Business Plan. You get the idea. (You might want to check out the Softkey website--maybe there's better information or a demo download there.)

PowerPoint has a template for business plans that could prove a jumping off point for you. If you do File/New, hit the "Presentations" tab, you'll see a buncha stuff. There's a business plan standard and a business plan online that I'm aware of. Could be more. I haven't seen any that come with Word (but I'm guessing that this is what the Softkey stuff is--a Word template), not sure why you'd need anything like that in Access, and when I go to Excel (97) and choose the "Village Software" template, I do get "Planning Tools" options, but it wants to send me to the Village Software website (where I didn't want to go today, sorry). Maybe there's something useful there?

Guess what I'm saying is that if you know what goes into a business plan, you could create one easily enough using the Office programs available. But if you don't know and want some kind of guidelines, you might head to the sites mentioned.

Man, wish I had a better answer for you (and didn't ramble so much!). And I should add that I checked this stuff on O97, not 2000. You might want to poke around and see what you find in File/New in the O2k programs.
