| How Do I Save Voice Mails Off The Fido Server? |
Question:
I want to cancel my Fido service,
but have several voice messages that
I want to save
onto another medium. How can I actually
retrieve them and save
them onto cassette, CD, mini disk
or something else?
Answer:
do a 3 way call:
- 1- call Fido's voice mail and enter
all the stuff to get to a single keystroke
- to start the message. - 2- conference
call to another voicemail system,
and once you get very near to - the
"beep", you bring in call
#1 , press the key that will trigger
FIdo's - voice mail to emit the saved
voice mail, which will be recorded
onto call #2's - voice mail. put hand
on your mouthpiece to prevent stray
room noises from - entering the conference
call.
