Question:
I bought a used PBX full duplex
speakerphone. I wonder if it's possible
to use at home with digital
phone
service. Is there a converter of
some kind from digital
phone
to PBX?
My Scientific Atlanta WebStar cable
modem has two phone
lines out. The cable guy installed
something that allowed one line
out to be used on my regular phone:
It looks like a regular phone
jack that only uses two wires from
the cable modem. I wonder if I can
use the cable modem to connect directly
to the speakerphone, which says
it's capable of doing computer VOIP?

This one is
way too easy. Sure there is.
It's called a PBX.
It's unlikely that a full duplex
PBX phone
will work as a stand alone unit,
so it looks like you bought a new
paperweight.
If you're looking for help on finding
equipment to support this phone,
it would seem that you might take
time in your two posts to name the
make and model of the phone
you're trying to interface, but
that's just good journalism.
Of course, you might look into the
stand alone conference
phones that are full duplex from
manufacturers like Panasonic, Clear
One, and Polycom. Expect to
pay hundreds of $$$, but it's probably
less than a PBX for your phone.
