| Recommendation For Conference Call |
Question:
I'm looking for a (UK) Conference
Call
Service that might get used once or
twice, for four calling parties (2
home-based, 2 office based), preferably
dial-in with no set-up fee.
I've had a quick trawl through Google
(good threads from Jun & Aug 2003)
and found (although the website seems
problematic?) BT 'Meet me' Orange
do something but I'm not an Orange
subscriber
I suppose I could use BT Three-Way
calling and get one of the other parties
to do the same, but that would be
fiddly.
An opportunistic Google search threw
up: Anyone know anything about this
outfit?
Any other recommendations? Any recommendations
on the above?
Answer:
I'm looking for a (UK) Conference
Call Service that might get used once
- or twice, for four calling parties
(2 home-based, 2 office based), -
preferably dial-in with no set-up
fee. It might be cheaper to use a
USA-based service, given that calls
to the USA from land lines can be
had for almost nothing from 18866
or 1899. If you are interested,
this service could be for you:
If some (but not all) of the participants
would prefer an 0870 number, then
a good solution might be:
1) Sign up for FreeConferenceCall.
2) Sign up at our site () for an 0870
number which maps to the FreeConferenceCall
number. 3) Distribute both the USA
number and the 0870 number, and let
the callers choose which number they
prefer to dial (perhaps based on whichever
is cheapest).
