I think the research you do for that
business
plan does help you learn a lot.
I know I learned a lot while researching
the info for my business
plan when starting my cybercafe a
little over 3 years ago. I
did not have to seek funding outside
of my own finances, but I still made
sure to write a business
plan so I had something to follow
while in business.
I'm not sure what advice your book
gives, but any good business
will have a business
plan for so many more reasons that
just obtaining financing and I hope
that your book shows the benefits
of a good business
plan, which contains outlooks and
projections for a business.
In other words, from my personal experience
of running several businesses, Business
plans are not just for funding, but
they are something you can follow
- like a guide to running your specific
business - and I certainly would recommend
everyone write one when starting any
sort of business, even if they don't
require funding.
