We're forming a new non-profit
organization and wish to prepare a
business
plan. Although I have experience
with for-profit plans,
and there are many templates and software
programs available for these - I've
not been able to find any info specifically
aimed at non-profit
business
plan development. Any help or directions
to web sites or publications would
be greatly appreciated.
Answer:
I spend a lot of time at the Foundation
Center (fortunately we have a local
Foundation library in Cleveland) both
online and on site. They are
an inexhaustible resource for this
type of need. I would recommend
looking through Grant writing resources
- often a NP business
plan will look very similar.
